Waited to be seated for approximately 5 minutes. Three servers standing chatting and kept glancing over. Finally, the one that was serving a customer spoke to them and asked them to seat us. One of them grabbed menus, sighed and rolled her eyes. We left and went elsewhere to eat. WORSE SERVICE EVER!!!
Was yummy I was just hoping for fries with dressing and gravy and apparently they didn't have dressing was kind of a bummer for my last meal in Newfoundland
Food was good but service was terrible. Wattress were all standing around talking. Took several minutes to be seated. 10 min to take beverage orders. Never asked once how meal was or could get anything else. Had to ask for coffee refill and glass of water.
Excellent food and excellent service! It's a great place to stop at any time of day. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. They greet you, frequently check on you and promptly bring your food. The food is always hot and fresh. They are so friendly here! It's a great place to eat that is not overly expensive.
The staff we encountered were friendly. The food was served quickly and the portions were large. Given the portion size, the prices are very reasonable. If you're passing through Deer Lake or dropping into town it is worth the stop.
